Cawaco Resource Conservation and Development Council, Inc. is seeking grant applications for the 2020 Challenge and Educational Grant Programs in Blount, Chilton, Jefferson, Shelby and Walker Counties of Central Alabama.

Proposals must be received prior to July 1, 2019
Challenge Grant Program: The Council offers small competitive Challenge Grants (up to $5,000*) to assist public and other non-profit agencies in their efforts to serve community needs. Projects funded support Council goals, and promote economic, community development and/ or responsible use of the area’s resources.
Educational Challenge Grants: The Council offers Educational Grants (up to $5,000*) for projects that provide information and/or instruction that meets Cawaco goals and objectives to children and/or adults.
*If your project reaches a broad audience, is far reaching, or encompasses more than one area or county, you may qualify for a larger award.
