Cawaco RC&D’s grant application is now open!
In partnership with the Alabama Legislature, Cawaco RC&D’s grant program supports projects in Central Alabama that create meaningful community, environmental, or educational impact, and where a little goes a long way.
We offer two types of grants:
- Education Grants – Support job and trade skill training, scholarships, field trips, books, and materials. Projects must serve an educational purpose and reach a broad audience.
- Impact Grants – Fund materials, infrastructure, community development, and educational or safety equipment.
Cawaco RC&D serves organizations in Alabama’s Blount, Chilton, Jefferson, Shelby, and Walker Counties. If your project is outside these counties, visit the Alabama Association of RC&D Councils to find your council.
Applications are open until June 30, 2025.
