Have you heard the buzz? Oak Mountain State Park opened a pollinator garden last week! It’s the first of 12 pollinator gardens across Alabama State Parks.
The gardens will be in full bloom by 2025. On-site teacher toolkits will allow educators to utilize interactive learning tools, including a children’s storybook experience in six of the gardens.
The pollinator gardens are funded by a state-level Alabama Association of Resource Conservation and Development Councils grant. Learn more about the pollinator gardens here.
