With this grant, REV Birmingham purchase 31 trees, including Aeryn Trident Maple, Winter King Hawthorne, Urbanite Ash, Australis Bay Magnolia, Nuttall Oak, and Willow Oak. Trees were identified based on the full landscape plan created by the project landscape architect, and Hunter Trees and sold at wholesale prices. This project created a shaded, cool, inviting atmosphere that enhances pedestrian enjoyment and area businesses.
