During medical emergencies in which patients needed to be ventilated, it was found that some patients were difficult if not impossible to establish an advanced airway in due to numerous factors including but not limited to physical anatomy and environmental issues such as lighting and size of area needed to work. This grant paid for two kits, one for each front-line advanced life support emergency vehicles.
