This grant will improve the agriscience department at Susan Moore High School, which will in turn better prepare students for the future. Many cordless tools such as: drills, impact drivers, saws, sanders, staplers, and an air compressor, were purchased, which will be used for wood working projects and to teach carpentry skills. An iron worker and a plasma worker were also purchased for the metal working department. Both of these pieces of equipment will give students the job skills that will make them more employable. 3 tool chest were also purchased. They will make the shop more safe, organized and efficient. The greenhouse also received improvements by upgrading the greenhouse tables and irrigation system.
