The Alabama Association of RC&D Councils is partnering with the Alabama Forestry Association and ForestryWorks to promote literacy, STEM learning and careers, and sustainable forestry education during Alabama Woods to Goods Week.
They came out and read “Lucy Meets a Logger” to Blountsville Elementary School first graders and used fun activities to demonstrate the importance of forestry and being good stewards of Alabama’s natural land.
